ICYMI we are bringing back our ‘Sensory Simplicity & Wine Words’ Class as part of our Wine Paradigm series!

Our next Class is scheduled for Saturday Mar 8 at 1:30p (up to 90 min class).

One of the most common questions we’ve received over the years is how one can best describe what it is they are sensing in a wine or how best to select a wine for different occasions. This class will highlight and dive into some common and technical industry words from describing how grapes are grown and wine is made, to what tasting notes may come up in a wine sensory evaluation. We’ll discuss and taste several different WA wines in a wide array of styles to help you feel more comfortable and confident in describing your casual or professional wine experience and selecting the best wine for the occasion.

This class is perfect for the beginning wine drinker, enthusiast, or professional who is seeking a simplified way to connect what they want to sense or are sensing in wines and wine styles, to a specific word or series of words. Wine should be simply delicious, and fun so let us help you break down any wine or industry words so you can continue enjoying the fruits of labor from our awesome vineyard farmers and winemakers!

Classes General info:

Registration deadline is generally 24 hrs before the class begins, and registrations occurring after or any walk-in requests will be determined based on that class’ availability, instructor’s discretion, and on a first come, first served basis. On-site classes will be held at Footprint Wine Tap, and prices for on-site classes start at $40 per person for an up to 1.5-hour class, and include class instruction documents and materials, and a curated selection of wine tastings every session.
